Cherokee NC: A Family Destination

One of my family's favorite destinations is the Cherokee Indian Reservation in North Carolina. It is only a couple hour drive from home, so we take off to visit when we want to get away, for birthdays, for celebrations, and just because. We have even been known to take off for just the day. We'll drive up, do some shopping, have lunch, and walk around the park. When we head home, we hit the rock shops and do some more shopping. Even for day trips, we get home late afternoon.

We have our favorite place to eat, favorite shops, but we always manage to find something new to do. Check out our pinspiration for Cherokee, NC. If you are close, and haven't been- you really must. If you have been, what is your favorite place?

Don't worry, I will share our favorite spots in more detail, including the burger joint we will drive up to just so we can eat in this amazing restaurant. Want to know where to stay? I'll share a few options from experience.
