Huggies Make Her Happy #MC

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central for Huggies and Target. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

A little over a year ago, we were so excited to finally be through the potty training journey. Tbomb had finally gotten potty trained, only wearing a pull up at night. Then miss Kodabug surprised us and we were right back to square one.

She was only a few weeks old, so he decided to explain
the woods to her! 

Kodabug and Tbomb have been completely different. In fact, almost completely opposite. One of the biggest differences have been their preferences. Tbomb didn't like noise and Kodabug does. Tbomb would only sleep with the tv on or a lamp on. Kodabug will not sleep with any light on. 

Even with diapers, they have been different. Tbomb really didn't have a preference for diapers. Kodabug definitely prefers Huggies! She has fewer diaper rashes and seems more comfortable in general. With Tbomb, we got whichever diapers were cheaper or we had a coupon for. With Kodabug, we stick with Huggies. When I had the opportunity to work on Huggies and Target (which I LOVE), I jumped at the opportunity. 

Huggies Snug & Dry diapers have so many features I have grown to love and appreciate more than I thought I would. For instance, the SureFit design promises up to 12 hours of leak protection. Perfect for once she started sleeping through the night. Tbomb would often wake with everything soaked. This didn't happen with Kodabug. Huggies kept us prepared! Wipes are something I learned quite early on as a mom that quality is best. I've bought cheap wipes thinking they would be just as good, but that is not the case. Book Review: My Twins' First Halloween

With a week until Halloween, this gal is getting pretty excited. It has been my favorite holiday as long as I can remember. I have always loved everything about it, but now my enjoyment has shifted. Being a parent has changed what I love about Halloween. I love seeing the excitement on my kids' faces and love to take these opportunities to teach lessons. Last Halloween, Kodabug was only a month old, so this year is extra exciting.

Tbomb gets just excited and me and the Mr, so when we got this new Halloween book, I knew there was lots of fun to be had!

My Twins' First Halloween is part of a series of books all about a little girl named Paris and her little twin sisters. Paris (now 14) is actually the author as well. The series highlights their adventures and lessons learned. I actually can't wait to read more of these books!

This particular book takes us through the journey of the twin sisters going trick-or-treating from picking their costumes to getting candy. The story is so cute!

The quality of the book amazed me. the paper is nice and thick, the cover is durable (very important in our house), and the color are vibrant. There is even a pumpkin stencil of Paris on the last page. You can't get much cuter than that.

I hope you decide to follow along on Paris' journey. It is cute and kids are sure to love it!

College Days: Text Books Without Tears

Something about this time of year always makes me think about college days. Must Have Products: Thirty-One Love

I don't know if you guys have figured this out yet or not, but I am absolutely in love with all things about Thirty-One Gifts. I love everything about the company. The products, the salesladies, the quality, the embroidery. Seriously, everything.

When I received my very first item, I fell in love. I mean, seriously- Thirty-One is like heaven for an organizer. Fast forward a few years and I use their products in every area of my life. In all honesty, I really should sell this stuff.

So, when they asked me to write a review for them, of course I jumped on board. I decided very quickly that I would do a whole series. This series will include: review for the products I received, tips for ordering from Thirty-One Gifts, a couple of 31 uses posts, and even posts about all the good that Thirty-One does. Exciting, right?

To start off, let's talk about the products that I was sent. I received the Timeless Beauty bag and the Baubles and Bracelets Case. These can both be seen in the catalog. They are amazing and another couple of items that have unlimited uses.

This is the Baubles and Bracelets case. It is the perfect size for traveling with jewelry. It even comes with 2 mesh drawstring bags for separating jewelry. It is the perfect size for traveling with jewelry. It easily holds enough for me for a week and I wear different jewelry each day. The straps on the lid are made for earrings and rings. The top one has holes for your earring and a snap to make adding and removing easier. The bottom does not have the holes, but snaps for adding and removing rings. Like other Thirty-One products, the construction is awesome and it will stand up for years to come. This particular print is "Navy Lotsa Dots."

As usual, I use this case differently than its intended purpose. It works great for jewelry, but it is perfect for my electronics! I use this in my investigation pack to hold my extra batteries, chargers, emergency chargers, It is great for my tripod adapters, small microphone, and whatever else I might need to go with my equipment. What's great is that the case is small enough to throw in my road trip bag as well without having to repack everything. 

The Timeless Beauty Bag is oh so amazing! Look at all the compartments! Plus, it is adorable folded up. I love the plastic flap above the brush holders to keep makeup from getting everywhere. One handle has a snap feature allowing you to hang it on a bar or your suitcase. While its intended purpose is for beauty tools, I have been exploring other possibilities. I used it in a recent trip as a busy bag for Tbomb, but now I have taken it over. I now use it to organize my planning supplies. It is so nice to pull it out when planning my week. I just unfold it and can see everything I have without having to unpack the makeup case I had been using. I love that it fits EVERYTHING I need.
