I am always looking for ways to mount my phone so that it is more useful. Sometimes that is to watch videos, or for the kids to watch videos. Sometimes it is to do a video, monitor apps on investigations, or even monitor social media while I work. I've tried several different options, but never found anything as handy as this Huixinda Gooseneck Mobile Phone Mount ($11.99 Amazon).This mount is very durable and will last for years to come. I love the fact that the clamps are padded, so that it does not do damage to the phone or what you clip it to. The arm of the mount is very sturdy and a bit hard to bend, but this ensures that it stays in the position you put it in. I like that I can mount my phone to just about anything and let the kids listen to music, listen to audio lessons, or even watch some videos, although I limit their video watching on the small screen of the phone. I can even clip it to the shelf next to my bathroom mirror and listen to music or the news while I'm getting ready. It also allows me to mount my phone up high where the kids cannot touch it. I've used it at my desk to monitor social media, in the kitchen while I cook for music, and even clipped it onto a tripod so that I can use my paranormal apps while I am filming and monitor changes in the atmosphere and such. This is a great mount and I'm sure I will purchase another to keep in my paranormal gear. It would also make a perfect Christmas gift. Anyone who uses a smartphone could benefit from this mount.
