For The Super Hero In Your Life #CapstonePub

Disclaimer: I received books to review. However, all opinions are my own.

I don't know if it is just my son or if all 5-year-old boys, but Tbomb is obsessed with superheroes. His favorite is Spiderman (as anyone who knows him or follows me on Instagram is well aware of), but he loves superheroes in general. Capstone Publishers sent us a couple of their Super Hero books to check out and they have become a favorite in our house.

Batman Shapes
Batman Shapes ($5.99), by Benjamin Bird, is an adorable little board book. It takes the basics of Batman (my favorite) and finds the simple shapes within. Tbomb has been having fun teaching Kodabug her shapes using this book. I love watching them do this together. When the tall buidling is actually a rectangle, why not use that to teach little ones?!

How to Draw Batman, Superman, and Other DC Super Heroes and Villains

How to Draw Batman, Superman, and Other DC Super Heroes and Villains ($14.95), by Aaron Sautter, is a great drawing book for kids. Although it is a little advanced for a 5-year-old, Tbomb is doing pretty good with it. He loves to draw and has been trying to "draw more real things," so this has been perfect for him. There are 50 different projects, with step-by-step instructions. Just add paper and pencils and you have hours of fun right in front of you. Kodabug was Wonder Woman for Halloween, so Tbomb loves drawing her.

If you have a child that loves superheroes, you should definitely check out the collection at Capstone Publishers- there is something for every fan!
