As I've mentioned before, and I'm sure any who follow me on social media know, I'm a geek. Well, my dear husband is an even bigger geek, so when I was asked to review August headphones, I knew they would be perfect for him.
You know how much I love first charge!
I managed to snatch this beautiful set of headphones away from the hubby to try out for myself. I wasn't sure he was getting them back. The BlueTooth technology was surprisingly easy to set up. The directions were very clear in the instruction manual. Within just a few minutes, I had them synced with my tablet, phone, and computer!
The headphones themselves are great. They are very adjustable. The band that goes across your head is adjustable and padded. The around ear part is padded and swivels. I think this might be my husband's favorite feature. Lucky for him, I could not wear them for very long because of my Industrial piercing. Mine is very sensitive and was irritated by the padding. (I can't even sleep on the right side of my head though).
My husband loves these headphones. He uses the connector cable with his xbox. He has completely stopped using his Turtle Beaches. He just throws on the headset that came with the xbox and wears these over it. He said the sound quality is better and they are much more comfortable. This is great news since The August EP650 Headphones have a price tag of only $39.95.
He even takes them to work with him so he can listen to his music while he works without a cord getting in his way. Then, if the charge runs out (not very likely with a 10 playing time.) The USB cord can even be used to play through. Their are controllers on the headset as well for power, skip back and forward, and volume up and down. Calls can even be answered without having to fumble with your phone! You can even use them on your PC and with VoIP software. I used them to record a quick Paralina episode and loved them!
