Teaching Routines with My Tot Clock

Disclaimer: I received the item in exchange for a review. I was not asked to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.

I am all about organizing and routines. Since Mac is three now, I decided it is time for him to start understanding a little more about routines. He has a routine, but he just does what I tell him to. Its time for him to understand a little more. Enter- My Tot Clock

My Tot Clock is the first all-in-one sleep clock, alarm clock, nightlight, timeout timer, and activity timer for tiny tots who can’t yet tell time.  The magic of My Tot Clock is that it changes color to teach little ones when it is time to sleep (blue light) and when it’s okay to get out of bed (yellow light). Parents set the routine!  My Tot Clock, with its child-friendly analog clock display, also plays bedtime stories, lullabies, fun wake-up music, and even white noise to make the traditionally stressful bedtime and morning routines more enjoyable. No more negotiating before bedtime!  My Tot Clock also includes a light blue light for nap time or quiet play time, a red light for timeout, and a green light for any positive timed activity like potty training and picking up toys.  Managing important tot time has never been easier!- Pamela Gonzalez, inventor of My Tot Clock
I am absolutely in love with this clock. The control panel on the back lets you set the time, bed time, nap time and duration, and wake time.
There are even controls to play a story, music, or both at night time. When it is time for bed, the story or music starts and the light turns blue. The same goes for nap time. The brightness of the blue light can be adjusted as well.
For wake up time, you can select to play music or not. The light then turns yellow, and plays music if you choose. Of course, the volume can be adjusted for any music.
The night time/ nap time/ wake time can be cancelled out by holding the opposite button for five seconds. Pressing the button at wake/ sleep time stops the story and music- like a snooze button.

The green and red buttons are my favorite features. The red button is for time out and the green for "encourage" time. The duration of each of these is adjustable.
This clock makes time out actually work for my son. Otherwise, he is constantly asking me how many more minutes.
My Tot Clock can be plugged in with the a/c adapter (included) or with AA batteries (not included). You can even purchase alternative face plates.
The night time story is just long enough to send my son off to dream land thanks to the guardian angel that lives inside My Tot Clock.
My Tot Clock manages a fan club on Facebook. Check it out and find out how perfect My Tot Clock is for little ones.
My Tot Clock is even giving away one Tot Clock to a reader of The Palmetto Queen.

  2. It would work great because of its many functions. The radio, alarm and its function as a night light would all be put to good use.

  3. I would actually love to win this for my 3 1/2 old nephew. His mom just got remarried and he lives in a new house and has a new bed room. He is having a hard time adjusting to the change and, my sister, his mom, has tried so many things. Some nights she ends up sleeping on the floor in his room. I think the features of this clock, like the night light and the songs and stories. Also, I like that that it has the colors which represent when it's time to go to bed and get up. Anyway, I'm rambling but I think he would really benefit from this. =) -Alexia Abby
