Ladies, summer is here! And while you prepare to don this season’s hottest swimsuit trends, be sure to prep and protect your most important asset…your SKIN.

Before showing the slightest amount of wear and tear (and clogged pores) from one too many sweaty trips to the beach, get your skin summer-ready with one of the following homemade beauty recipes created by renowned natural skincare expert, Linda Collinson, creator of Dewberry Lotion ( www.dewberrylotion.com ).

(Linda interest in natural health started when she used household items to whip up a lotion to cure her young son of a skin disease doctor’s and store-bought skincare items couldn’t fix. She turned that recipe into a million dollar business.

Linda’s Sexy Summer Beauty Recipes:

1. Banana Mask

Ingredients
1 medium, ripe banana
¼ cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons honey

Method: Combine ingredients, apply to face and neck, let sit for 10 to 20 minutes, rinse with cool water.

2. Vinegar Toner

Ingredients
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 cups of water

Method: Clean face, apply toner to further cleanse and tighten skin.

3. Lemon Hair Rinse

Ingredients
1 lemon
1 cup of cool water

Method: Combine ingredients, pour onto hair, let sit for 2-3 minutes, rinse with clear water.

4. Summer Spot Treatment

Ingredients
1 medium-sized white potato
3 drops of lemon juice
3 drops of honey

Method: Grate the potato, wrap it in some cheesecloth, and squeeze out the juice. Add the lemon juice and honey and apply to face, either all over or just on the pigmentation marks, leave on for 20 minutes and rinse. (The acidic nature of the potato and lemon juice provides natural skin bleaching which is best for getting rid of dark spots.)

About Linda Collinson

Linda Collinson had always suffered from sensitive, irritated skin and thought maybe there was a natural treatment. Through intensive research she found that commercially available products all contained ingredients that actually contributed to her dry, irritated skin – most products contained mineral oil, a petroleum product that does the opposite of hydrating the skin. In 1981 Linda created LaCrista (meaning the best) Natural Skincare to market her natural skincare formulas that worked so well for her very sensitive skin.

Linda landed her products on the shelves of WalMart, Sams Club, Giant Food, The Cosmetic Centers, and other notable retail stores in the U.S. and abroad. To learn more about Linda Click here:
