Book Review: Build A... T-Rex & Butterfly

Disclaimer: I received books to review. All opinions are my own.

My son loves science and math. He loves animals, dinosaurs, space, chemistry, gardening- everything but bugs. (Although he does love rollie pollies and lightning bugs lol). I love to encourage his love of science and work it into other areas of study. Build A... T-Rex ($11.69), by Kiki Ljung, is a perfect way to do this. We can work on following directions, reading, building, and more with this amazing book. I enjoyed watching my lego lovers (Tbomb and the Mr) build the T-Rex together.

Welcome to your dinosaur dig! Build a T-rex and uncover the inner workings of the world's most ferocious dinosaur. Learn about their body, their prey, and their extinction. Encourages imaginative play with a step-by-step 3D model to build, and simple facts to learn, ideal for young naturalists.

Build A... Butterfly ($11.69) is much the same. It is perfect for learning about the development of butterflies and keep the attention of my prissy little girl.

Welcome to the butterfly house! Build a butterfly and uncover the inner workings of the world's most beautiful insect. Learn about their life cycle, how they find food, where they live, and how far they travel. Encourages imaginative play with a step-by-step 3D model to build, and simple facts to learn, ideal for young naturalists.

These books are a great addition to any library, especially of the homeschool variety. They are perfect hands-on activities for science and great to read together. We will use these books often in school and I look forward to watching the kids grow and read.
