: Passing on a Legacy of Faith to Our Children (Free Workbook)

Disclaimer: I received items to review for free. All opinions are my own.

Yael Eckstein, daughter of world-renowned Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, has written a wonderful book to help guide us in passing on the faith to our children. In Generation to Generation: Passing on a Legacy of Faith to Our Children, Yael speaks about dealing with her father's death, following in his footsteps, and how the things he taught her are being passed to her children. Yael writes about how Jewish families have set in traditions and observances that teach children to take time to observe what God has done and to ask questions so they can grow in their faith. She speaks about how to encourage our children to hold on to these traditions.

Even though I'm not Jewish, I am learning that the things I am doing through Christmas to help my children on the journey to get closer to God are something to keep doing and to find ways of working it into our lives throughout the year. Maybe Sunday dinner will be our time of this encouragement. Each family is different and we find what works best to ensure our children have the tools to have a wonderful relationship with God.
